Honour after Honour…

Portsmouth’s FA Cup-winning squad and boss Harry Redknapp are set to be honoured by their home town.
After beating Championship side Cardiff in the final, two months ago, the team look certain to recieve the Freedom of the City from Portsmouth City Council.

A Training Ground to be Proud Of

Pompey have been given the go ahead to build a new 35 acre training ground at Lee-on-the Solent in Hampshire.
Gosport Council voted unanimously for the new state-of-the-art multi-million pound complex late Tuesday evening. The scheme will reap many benefits for the town and community.

Distin fined by the Court

Pompey defender Sylvain Distin was today fined £2000 for failing to attend the abandoned assault trial of former team-mate Joey Barton.
The centre-back was said to have gotten off lucky and could have faced jail term if his absense had delayed court proceedings any further.
