Portsmouth got back to winning ways this afternoon after a comfortable win against bottom-of-the-table Tottenham.
Former Spurs striker Jermain Defoe opened the scoring from the penalty spot, after Jermaine Jenas foolishley handled a Glen Little free-kick inside his area.

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp, has today given his full backing to England international, David James.
The 38-year-old has come under criticism recently, after conceding 10 goals in two games, six against Manchester City and four against Chelsea.

‘Arry would be ‘appy with Appiah

Pompey manager Harry Redknapp, has admitted his interest in Ghana international Stephen Appiah.
The powerful midfielder is currently a free agent, after being released by Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Redknapp knows however that Pompey will not be the only club in for him.

Davis’ future remains unclear
