Spurs’ Crouch Offer Accepted

Portsmouth have come to an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for England striker Peter Crouch at least according to Portsmouth manager, Paul Hart.
Despite claims by Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp only last week, that the proposed deal would be too expensive, Spurs are willing to pay £10m, with the 28-year-old set to sign a five-year contract.

Pompey announce new shirt sponsor

Pompey have been quick to sign a contract with online recruitment service, Jobsite, as its new shirt sponsor. As well as shirt sponsorship rights, the club’s infamous Fratton End will now be renamed as the ‘Jobsite Stand’.

Distin set to stay as bid rejected

Chief Executive Officer Peter Storrie admitted today that the club had rejected an offer for defender Sylvain Distin.

Al Fahim ‘completes’ Portsmouth takeover
