Aissa still hopeful of Portsmouth move

Algerian midfielder Lazhar Hadj Aissa is still hopeful of completing a move to Premier League side Portsmouth, having been on trial at the club for the past fortnight.

This will allow fans to purchase their latest Danny Webber shirt, or a shirt christened by the name O’Hara.

Webber signs on at Portsmouth

As expected, Portsmouth today completed the signing of striker Danny Webber on a two-year contract.
The former Manchester United player was available on a free transfer after being released from Sheffield United in the summer.

Former Manchester United striker Danny Webber is set to sign a two-year-deal at Fratton Park, after impressing manager Paul Hart while on trial.

Chief executive officer Peter Storrie has issued a rallying cry to Portsmouth fans, urging them to fill Fratton Park to full capacity, at least for the upcoming games ahead.
